Love the concept but every time I put my location in, it crashes. Please fix this!

Just started using the application for my daughter on her walk from middle school to the house. As we were just testing it she put the neighbors address/next door and the gps point is in the backyard so she never made it to her destination. There is no way of closing or finalizing the trip other than forcing to close the app but as I am still stuck as her companion. I force the app to close and turned off my phone it is shows the trip opened. Help
Im a woman living alone in New York City. This app lets my parents know I havent dropped dead in a ditch somewhere in the middle of the night. So easy to use. And so helpful. Potential life saver.
I have had no troubles with companion! Thankfully I have never needed to use to "Call the Police" button but I always feel safer knowing that companion has my back! Has really made traveling at night easier.
I HOPE THIS DOESNT START CHARGING PEOPLE EVERY MONTH! This is such an incredible and smart app and everyone should use it because everyone needs to be protected and protection shouldnt cost something every time you want to use it so I hope that the creators/developers dont start charging for this apps service.
I Was Super Excited When I Downloaded This App Because I Go To Night School Until 10pm And Then Walk To The Bus Station And Walk From My Bus Stop Home, All In The Dark And Alone. I Just Have One Problem. When I Tried Inputting My Destination For Kicks A Few Minutes Ago To See How Everything Works, The App Kept Popping Up With A Notification Saying "Travel Time Not Found" And Wouldnt Let Me Start A Trip Or Whatever. And I Tried Multiple Destinations. Maybe Its A Bug? I Dunno, But Please Fix!!
Too unreliable - if you genuinely have an emergency this app isnt going to help if its not working correctly every single time
I love the idea of this app! My closest friends can track me now, which is much more convenient than manually updating them through text. Sadly, theres no option for us to confirm that weve reached out destination and are safe?
This app is a must have for walking alone in any city.
What an incredible idea for an app and the new update has made my trips so much smoother. I am so glad they finally got driving mode so I can use on my drive back from work. Amazing app a must download!!
This is a wonderful app, which I suggest to all families, in several countries. It could only come from kind hearted and brilliant people!
Fantastic app!
Is there any way to dismiss an emergency call (or the I feel nervous option)? I think not having that option, or adding a passcode protected option, would be helpful just in case if the wrong person, or someone with bad intentions, gets a hold of your cell phone and wants to disengage the app from being able to track the person or the phone.
I wasnt for sure what was going on. I chose my companions but I thought that was a preset. All of a sudden they are getting texts and then I get a notification that my friends are fixing to be notified that I wasnt ok when I actually was.
Alerting my companions once the GPS says Ive reached my destination okay is completely different from actually being inside with the doors locked. Being on my drive way is not inside and safe. Also, the 15 seconds it allows you to click the Im okay button is useless. An attacker could easily turn it off. This app needs a four digit password in order to turn off the alert/tracking/stop companion all together. Other than that its a great app with amazing potential.
Its a great idea since I usually stay on the phone with my friends on the way home anyway. One suggestion would be to allow users to add contacts after they started a trip. This option is only available before starting the trip. Although it suggests adding more than one before starting it would be useful to have the option to add it afterwards as well.
My sister told me about the app and I told three other women. I was excited. Last night I started on my destination but the problem was how do I let the app know where I parked. I accidentally hit the "I am nervous" button but realized that was not the " start button. Then I finally realized I needed to move that gray locator. So I zoomed in on the map, in the dark on my college campus, trying to locate my car parked on the street. Once I was able to move the locator to a general spot, I notified my contacts. I started walking but before I even reached my car, it notified my contacts that I was safe. (I was not in a safe area). I was like no where near my car. I thought it was at least still tracking but it was not. So two suggestions: 1. Have the option to drop pin before leaving your safe place in addition to what you have in place. I knew where I parked but I did not write down the address. My goal is to go to school. Moving the locator was weird, especially when you are a google maps user. 2. Have a start and end button in replacement of the "I am nervous" button. I think the I am nervous button can be on a side menu to notify the local law enforcement of the neighborhood. Once the start button is activated it will link to my contacts so I can select who to notify. Once I reached my destination allow the same start button become an end button. Overall, its definitely a great idea, but still needs improvements.
I downloaded this app hoping I could use it when I go for a run by myself. It tells me I need to enter a destination, but I dont have one. I never run from a specific point to another. I would love if I had some to watch over me while I go for a run in the park. Please create this feature!!
Once again a 5 mile walk made miserable. 72 false alerts today. I walk a brisk pace but nothing near a speed walk or jog. Im 56", size 4 so its not excess jiggling. I stop to tie a shoe (stopped as in head over the head and actually need my companions notified) and NO alert. Ive used this app off and on for over a 18 months.
I agree with other reviewers in that I wish I could stop the app and notify my mother when Im inside the lobby door with my key, rather than the app automatically stopping when I am geographically near my front door. Often I fear someone will surprise me when Im reaching for my keys or follow me inside the door.
