Great idea, bad bugs

My friend introduced me to companion because she wanted me to be her buddy, and she told me how much safer she felt knowing I was keeping watch.

One night, I decided to use it on a 4 block walk in downtown Los Angeles. My friend messaged me, "I dont see you."

Turns out that the app told her I got to the destination already when in fact I had just left my car. I got to my destination safely thankfully, but that is a very dangerous bug.

This app is a great idea, but until it is fixed, I think it is more dangerous because it gives a false sense of security.
